Pictures and a bit of storyline

Ive uploaded my photos so heres a peek.

The homes here are beautiful. The landscaping is insane.

(This is actually NOT eco-friendly - bore water means that the ppl drilled deep into there ground to get water which should really be left in its natural state cuz the are too conceited to allow their grass to go yellow)
BUT the homes are mostly eco-friendly.  Naomi's home (and many others) has a water tank in the backyard that collects rainwater and uses it for the toilet and washing machine.  (I need to take a picture of it).  Her family is also getting a solar panal.  And all the homes I have been in have switches by the outlets to turn them on only when they are in use.
I realize that was long - sorry - Im passionate!

Here the cars drive on the wrong side of the raod - Im just getting used to safely checking both ways before crossing the road.  The trams exist and go down the roads.  And the mailman rides a motercycle down the sidewalk.
I saw all this after I moved my belongings into the Nanny home.

The bed is huge (which is a relief after sharing the narrowest twin bed in Sydney).  And the room is spacious.

Well this is a lot to take in so I will God-willing post pictures from outings soon.

  4. Everything looks great! I'm going to try and comment fun things so that you don't get bored of writing your blog.

Last night I had a dream that my mother was going to Australia for 10 days and taking me with her. I didn't want to make her feel bad and I thought it was the opportunity of a lifetime but I really didn't want to go. If I did I would miss the last few days that my sister was in town. I was also worried because I would have to miss the first 3 days of school this semester. You'll be happy to know that in the midst of all of this I thought I'd call you and we could spend shabbos with you.
I can't promise to always have something this relevant to say to you, but I will try :) Have fun! Keep Writing/posting pictures...

  5. I am extremely disappointed. Here you were, so excited about your new blog, and promising to post pictures, and then this is it??? I left the country for two weeks, and I only missed two posts?! Unimpressive.

Having said that, it does look really beautiful, and I would recommend at least TRYING to keep your room neat over there!! You're in someone else's house!! But, I expect to see pictures of a more "lived-in" room a little later on ;).

Miss you lots!! And hope to skype (gchat -- you know my skype is broken!) soon!!
